Next, in March, we are excited to play two shows with Japan’s Kawaguchi Masami’s New Rock Syndicate, and Portland’s Wave Action. If you haven’t heard it already, we really recommend checking out New Rock Syndicate’s 2018’s “Now.” Here’s a quick blurb:

“Kawaguchi Masami has been a fixture of the Tokyo underground music scene since the early 90’s and remains a vital figure there to this day. In 2006 he formed his New Rock Syndicate, a trio who has spawned numerous melancholic psych rock masterpieces and is known for Kawaguchi’s blistering guitar style and free roaming structures.

2018 brought the band’s most fully realized album, “Now,” on An’Archives. The record features Kawaguchi’s signature loose and wild guitar blazing over a fluid and deeply connected rhythm section playing at the peak of their craft, soaring to fierce and free psychedelic heights. The record serves as the perfect preview of the band’s US tour, which promises to be an uncompromising experience not to be missed.”
