7 (or 8), the title itself a wry observation echoing the confusion created by their extensive catalog, is in fact their SEVENTH (or eighth depending who you ask) LP and second for new label home Kill Rock Stars, having previously released several LPs on Sub Pop and other discerning independent labels. Recorded and mixed in San Francisco at El Studio with Phil Manley (of Trans Am, and Life Coach), 7 (or 8) comes in the midst of a more prolific period for the band.

Sandrider & Kinski Split EP Release Show – Sat 2/28

Hello!
Kinski have a split release show this Saturday in Seattle at Neumos, with Sandrider and Blood Drugs. And the big news is that legendary guitarist Jakob Sjöholm from the mighty Träd, Gräs & Stenar is going to sit in with us on one (long) number. We’re excited to play with Jakob and we’re excited to play with Sandrider and Blood Drugs.
It’s sort of an early show.  Starts at 9.  Kinski are on at 9:45.

Kinski + Sandrider Split EP Release Show with Blood Drugs

Lots of news coming up in 2015, including our full-length release this Spring!  We’ll let you know when there’s a release date.

But for now, our split release with Sandrider will be out February 17th.  We are playing with them here in Seattle at Neumos on February 28th.
